Pennsylvania’s Main Street Program is a key piece of the dynamic community and economic development strategies of the Pennsylvania Downtown Center and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). The success of the Main Street program over the last 20+ years has helped downtown revitalization efforts to support and build the commonwealth’s diverse communities. The funded five-year program encourages revitalization by leveraging private dollars and requiring ongoing, local support evidenced by the establishment of an organization and documented financial commitment from the community.

Communities able to successfully complete their five-year program are eligible to apply for a matching $65,000 exit grant. Olde Town Grove City is in the fourth year of our funding cycle. The past four very successful years have proven a platform to continue to grow our downtown into years Six, Seven and beyond.

Last Year, Olde Town's Gala raised nearly $27,000 toward our Year Six Exit Grant; this year, we hope to raise an additional $25,000.

The focus of our Olde Town Gala is specifically to raise the $65,000 needed for our match for the Main Street Exit Grant. All sponsorships for the Gala actually result in doubling each individual donation. Olde Town Grove City’s Main Street program is vital to the overall success of our entire community. Thanks to our strong community partnerships and collaborations, individual passion and support, Olde Town will continue to be a strong force for revitalization and growth.
